The National Diploma in Dental Nursing examination will be in two parts, with the written paper and the practical known as the Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCE).
Exam Fee: £510 (including both written and practical)
Written: 2 hours – 60 MCQ and 40 EMC
OSCEs: 11 stations (4 + 7 in workbook)
1st Part- Written Online exam.
2nd Part: OSCE : Verbal scenario-based stations on Zoom – approximately 40 minutes

Workbook element using the MaxExam app – approximately 1 hour
The unmanned element will be assessed using MaxExam and candidates will be required to complete a mandatory workbook practice session.

Exam entry policy:
Students must:
• Submit an Exam application form and fees by the deadline stated on the scheme of works
• Have attended a minimum of 80% of the sessions
• Pass the Mock 2 exam (65%Pass percentage)
• All homework /Work Portfolio set by the course tutor must be completed and handed to the tutor when requested.
We may withdraw an exam application based on any concerns that arise after submission. Part of the fees will be forfeited should this occur.
